These terms apply when you register with, book from, or rent a vehicle or accessory from Sinchana Sangathi Private Limited ("Sinchana", "we", "us") through this website, our mobile app or a branch. By creating an account or making a booking you agree to them.

1. Who can rent
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- To ride or drive a motor vehicle you need a valid driving licence for that type of vehicle. It must be valid until the return date of your booking, and it must be approved in your account before the vehicle is handed over. For a bicycle, any approved government photo ID is enough.
- Bring the original licence (or ID) to pickup. We may check your documents again before handing over a vehicle.
- We may refuse or cancel a rental if the documents cannot be verified or the details given are not correct.
2. Bookings and payment
- Prices shown include GST. The refundable security deposit, extra-kilometre charges and add-ons are shown separately before you pay.
- An online booking is held for you only for the payment time shown at checkout. If it is not paid in that time, it is released and the vehicle becomes available to others.
- A booking may need approval by the branch before pickup. You will be told if it cannot go ahead.
- The free kilometres included in your booking are shown with the vehicle. Kilometres above that are charged at the per-km rate shown, plus GST.
3. Pickup and return
- Collect and return the vehicle at the branch or pickup point in your booking, at the times booked.
- The vehicle's condition is recorded with photos at pickup and at return. Please check it with our staff and point out any existing marks before you leave.
- Return the vehicle on time and in the condition you received it. Late returns are charged for the extra time and may carry a late-return fee.
- Hand back every accessory you received (helmets and the like) at return.
4. Using the vehicle
- Only the person named on the booking may ride or drive the vehicle. Do not lend, sub-let or sell it.
- Follow all traffic laws. Wear a helmet on two-wheelers and a seat belt in cars. Do not ride or drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Do not use the vehicle for racing, commercial carriage of goods or passengers, towing, or off-road riding unless we have agreed to it in writing.
- If there is a breakdown, accident or theft, call us at once and, where required, the police.
5. Deposit, damage and other charges
- The security deposit is refunded after the vehicle is returned and checked, less any amount owed.
- Damage, loss of parts or accessories, and cleaning beyond normal use are charged to you. Small amounts may be taken from the deposit at return; larger ones are assessed by the branch and explained to you.
- Traffic fines, challans, tolls and parking charges incurred during your rental are your responsibility, including those that reach us after the rental has ended.
6. Extensions, cancellations and refunds
- You may ask to extend a booking before it ends. An extension depends on the vehicle being free and is confirmed only once it is approved and paid. The longest extension allowed is shown when you request one.
- You can cancel a booking from My Bookings. The cancellation charge depends on how long before pickup you cancel; the amount you will get back is shown before you confirm.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method within the time shown when you cancel; amounts returned to your Sinchana Wallet are available at once.
- If we cancel a booking, for example because the vehicle cannot be provided, you get a full refund.
7. Your documents and privacy
- We collect your name, contact details, address, driving licence and Aadhaar details to verify your identity, meet legal requirements for vehicle rental, and contact you about your bookings.
- Licence and Aadhaar numbers are stored encrypted, and staff see them masked. Document images are used only for verification.
- We share your details only when the law requires it (for example with the police or transport authorities) or when needed to complete your rental (for example the payment gateway).
- We keep your records for as long as the law requires for rentals and payments. To correct your details or ask about deleting your account, contact us using the details below.
